The Inspector General of Police John Martins Okoth Ochola has cancelled the transfer of Rukungiri District Police Commander (DPC) SSP Musa Tibakirana.
Last week, IGP Ochola confirmed that SSP. Musa Tibakirana was transferred to Arua City to act in the same capacity as the DPC after being promoted from the Rank of SP to SSP.
However, sources told our reporter that Rukungiri district leadership raised a concern to IGP and other responsible government official that SSP Tibakirana should not be transferred since he has been doing a great work in Rukungiri especially on security.
