Many have been wondering about Counsel Isaac Atukunda since he expressed interest in running for the Rukungiri Municipality Parliamentary Seat. He seems to be accomplishing amazing things even before he gets elected.
His accomplishments to date have won the faith of the people of Rukungiri Municipality, who say he is a true leader worth supporting for the area’s growth and have promised to back him come 2026 general elections.
Counsel Isaac Atukunda, who was born in Kyatoko, Eastern Division Rukungiri Municipality, completed his elementary education at Kyatoko Primary School before earning his Ordinary and Advanced Level Certificates from Makobore High School in Western Division Rukungiri Municipality and finally to Kampala International University (KIU).
As the managing partner of Credo Advocates, Counsel Isaac Atukunda has mostly worked in the fields of mining, land transactions, NGO management, immigration, commercial transactions, and legal document preparation.
In addition, he is the proprietor of Orchids Herbal Tea and Restaurant in Kampala and the co-director of Hyper Forex Bureau.
The youthful leader Counsel Isaac taught civil proceedings, contract law, and tort law as an assistant lecturer at Kampala International University Faculty of Law.
In addition to all of the above, Counsel Isaac Atukunda is a member of the East Africa Law Society and the Uganda Law Society.
He presently serves as the legal advisor for the Djibouti consulate in Uganda in addition to his roles as Honorary Secretary and Chairperson of the Uganda Law Society’s Research and Publications Committee.
In serving home, Counsel Isaac is the Deputy Chancellor for North Kigezi Diocesan Synod under the Church of Uganda.
Meanwhile residents of Rukungiri municipality now think that such leader has the ability to improve the quality of services provided in the area because of all these leadership qualities.
