Kigezi Agricultural College Rukungiri has been approved as a fully registered institution by the Ministry of Education and Sports via Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB).
The institution director Elder Emmanuel Kikoni verified the development in an exclusive interview with our correspondent.
According to Elder Kikoni, the institute has received complete recognition and will offer all agricultural related courses to students.
Elder Emmanuel Kikoni revealed that he had the idea to establish the college to help people, particularly farmers, learn more, ideally with the awareness that farming will be the world’s principal source of food in future.
He revealed that the college was established approximately two years ago, and that all graduates who took the UBTEB exam passed with flying colors indicating that the college has exceptional teachers and is highly selective when it comes to the students it admits.
