RUKUNGIRI-Learners have been advised to start preparing for the future now and take advantage of time since no one can buy the past, but can decide future destiny.
The North Kigezi Diocesan Bishop’s Commissary Ven. Nathan Mugisha Kirebete gave these inspirational remarks to the pupils and teachers of Kebisoni Integrated Primary School yesterday, Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
Elder Emmanuel Kikoni hosted the entire Kebisoni Integrated Primary School community at his home in Kakinga, in the Rukungiri district of Kebisoni town council.
In order to inspire students to work hard and lead successful lives after school, elder Kikoni says he made the decision as an old boy to host and have a special meal with the pupils and staff of Kebisoni Integrated Primary School every year.
Following a sumptuous meal, the chief guest, Ven. Nathan Mugisha Kirebete, spoke to the congregation, emphasizing the importance of education in preparing pupils to take advantage of future chances.
He says that one approach to be successful is to stop being a spectator and start acting.
Ven. Kirebete continued by advising pupils to follow God’s guidance in order to make better choices.

Ven. Kirebete praised Elder Kikoni for his kind and compassionate qualities from God and for considering the pupils from the school he attended.

Elder Emmanuel Kikoni (the host) encouraged young people to always think and consider their home backgrounds as this will help them to have bright and successful lives.
Elder Kikoni hosted over 660 pupils from Kebisoni Integrated Primary School and served them with a meal as a sign of showing them love and inspiring them in their education.
He urged pupils to put in a lot of effort in their studies and read widely since doing so will help them escape the poverty in their homes and achieve financial prosperity.

In the meantime, head teacher of Kebisoni Integrated Primary School Mr. Musasizi Hebert disclosed that the things elder Kikoni is doing for his pupils are motivating and would encourage them to study hard so they may become like him when they finish their education.
