NEWS-Deputy Speaker Mr. Thomas Tayebwa revealed on Monday that the President of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), Mr. Moses Magogo, and Speaker of Parliament, Ms. Anita Among, had welcomed twins.
Tayebwa called Moses Magogo and Anita Among “Ssalongo and Nnalongo,” which are traditional titles used in Uganda to indicate parents of twins, and congratulated them on the successful delivery of twins in a tweet.
“With great Joy, I congratulate my brother Moses Magogo and my sister, the Rt. Hon Speaker Anita Among upon the double bundle of joy. You are now Ssalongo and Nnalongo. Congratulations once again,” Tayebwa said in a brief tweet.
In a private ceremony in Kampala in August 2022, the speaker wed Moses Magogo Hassim, the MP for Budiope East in the Buyende district and president of FUFA.
Earlier, at a private ceremony held in Bukedea District, Among formally presented her fiancé.
