Six individuals perished instantly in an accident, while two others just suffered injuries, according to tragic news that has reached our desk.
The accident occurred this morning at around 6:00 am when a bus registered to the Kasaba Bus Company, UAP 385U, collided with a taxi registration number, UBN 337H.
Eyewitnesses claim that while the driver of the taxi, identified as Robert Arineitwe, was changing a tire near Nyamunuka town in Nyamunuka town council Ntungamo district, the bus which was coming from Kampala and traveling to Rukungiri slammed into them, instantly killing six people, including the driver of the tax.
Eyewitnesses stated that while none of the bus’s occupants were hurt, those who survived the incident were taken to nearby clinic for medical attention.
All motor vehicles are still at the scene when this narrative was put together, and the police had not yet made any statement regarding the specifics of the deceased.
