Rukungiri Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Nsubuga Bewayo Stephen passed out 322 Senior One and Five students from Kashenyi Senior Secondary School on Monday, June 12, 2023, following a one-week intense patriotism training.
RDC Nsubuga stated during the pass out ceremony conducted at Kashenyi Senior Secondary School play grounds that patriotism is attempting to transform students into decent citizens by encouraging them to work hard in order to have a bright future.
RDC Bewayo advised students that it is their job to love and defend their country, but above all, he urged them to be disciplined, hardworking, and academically successful in order to reach their desired outcomes.

He stated that the NRM government has provided security for the people, but the silent adversary is poverty, which must be combated.
Nsubuga, on the other hand, stated that people should distinguish between politics and patriotism, most of whom believe that it belongs solely to President Museveni, which is not the case.
He congratulated the head teacher of Kashenyi Secondary School, Can. Makky Twinomujuni, and his staff for instilling discipline in students, which resulted in improved performance.
