Hajji Shafiq Sekandi Sengoba, the Kisoro Resident District Commissioner (RDC), has stated that no amount of public pressure will be able to alter his professional approach to carrying out and resolving security-related concerns in the area.

RDC’s statement came days after Bukimbiri county Member of Parliament, Hon. Eddie Kwizera Wagahungu, criticized his office and that of the district police commander (DPC) for failing to resolve issues between Kisoro United Boda Boda operators and Bukimbiri United Boda Boda operators.

CUE IN………..KWIZERA ON LAW……

Sekandi told our reporter today in his office that the security personnel in the Kisoro district are adept at carrying out their responsibilities using intelligence-based information, but they do not work with anyone whose interests are personal.

Each leader, he said, should behave within their authority and refrain from getting involved in or interfering with other people’s jobs.

RDC continued by saying that continuously apprehending wrongdoers has never been a way to resolve conflicts.

CUE IN……………………………….RDC ON RESPONSILITY.

He asked the Bukimbiri United Boda Boda Operators (BUBO) to conduct business as usual and refrain from politicizing their organization in the interim.

He made clear to public servants who were trusted with important duties that he needed and wanted their respect.

CUE IN…………………………RDC ON BUKIMBIRI.
