KISORO! Primary school teacher killed in fatal accident

A 41-year-old teacher at Kabami elementary school in Chahafi town council was killed yesterday by a speeding motorcycle bearing the registration number UFC 984D and carrying a carton of Mandazi.

Senzira Henry alias Sempa, a resident of Gisha cell, Central Ward in Chahafi town council, has been identified as the deceased, while the motorcycle rider remains unknown because he is on the run.

He was accosted on his way to school at 9:00 a.m.

Since 2010, Sempa has taught math and science at Kabami Primary School.

Wandirera Joseph, Chairperson of Gisha LC1, says his village has lost an iconic citizen and a beloved teacher.

He criticized the uncontrollable speed of Mandazi riders, which has persisted.

Turinayo Herbert, the deputy head teacher at Kabami Primary School, said he was horrified to learn that Sempa had been engaged in an accident when he was waiting for him at school to carry out their duties as two instructors on the day’s work schedule.
