The Minister for Security and Member of Parliament for Rujumbura County, Hon. Jim Muhwezi has fulfilled his promise to provide fifty bags of cement to Kakamba Full Gospel Church in Buhunga Sub County Rukungiri district.

This came about as a result of church leaders asking for his assistance as they are constructing the house of God.

The representatives of Minister Jim Muhwezi were Mr. Isaac Kaharuza, his political assistant, and Edwin Kutesa Kaziriri, a resident of Buhunga Sub County who also works in Jim Mihwezi’s office in Kampala.

Speaking at the handover ceremony held at church yesterday, Kaharuza disclosed that Hon. Jim Muhwezi is assisting churches in lessening the financial burden that Christians bear when it comes to paying tithe that these churches impose on them when they undertake specific projects.

According to Mzee Silver Rukarama, an elder and political advisor to Hon. Jim Muhwezi, people should be grateful for President Museveni’s NRM government’s efforts to maintain security and peace.

Rukarama revealed that people were tormented by the previous governments and that they shouldn’t take the NRM government for granted.

He used an example of neighbouring countries like Kenya, South Sudan, Congo, and Libya, among others, that are suffering as a result of the need for change.
