Bishop Calistus Rubaramira founded the Bishop Annual Appeal in 2015 because the diocese has been hosting yearly fundraising events to raise funds for church initiatives spread around the diocese.

Fr. Turyatoronwa stated that Rukungiri ought to make a substantial contribution because the BAAF assisted the Rukungiri chapter last year in erecting a commercial building on Republic Road across from the Rukungiri Central Police Station.

This structure will soon be put into service and house the Rukungiri branch of the Continental Bank.

For the bishop to be able to achieve his aim, he asks everyone to appreciate and support the 2023 BAAF project.
